Movu Robotics is expanding its strategic partnership with MHS Lift Inc., a North American warehouse and distribution solutions provider, as the companies push deeper into warehouse automation. The move builds on a relationship that began in 2019 and follows MHS Lift’s delivery and commissioning of its second automated system project. MHS Lift will continue to integrate Movu’s Atlas four-way shuttle system.
The expanded relationship marks a new phase for Movu Robotics in the North American market. MHS Lift, Movu’s first systems integrator in North America, recently delivered and commissioned its second automated system project. The companies’ collaboration dates to 2019, when MHS Lift implemented Movu Robotics’ first North American automation project.
Under the partnership, MHS Lift will continue to integrate the Movu Atlas four-way shuttle system. The robotic automated storage and retrieval system, or ASRS, is designed to address storage density and operational efficiency challenges in modern warehouses through coordinated hardware and software.
Movu Atlas is built around high space utilization. Autonomous shuttle robots move pallets inside dedicated rack aisles, a design that narrows aisle widths and maximizes usable storage space.
The system integrates with existing warehouse management systems, or WMS. Its software control layer is designed to automate processes from inventory management to material flow, improving response speed and accuracy.
Movu Robotics’ automation approach is based on modular, scalable and flexible systems. Beyond the Atlas multi-depth pallet shuttle, the company’s lineup includes the ifollow autonomous mobile robot and supporting software for each hardware offering.
| Offering | Category | Primary function |
|---|---|---|
| Atlas | Four-way pallet shuttle / ASRS | Moves pallets in dedicated rack aisles; reduces aisle width and increases storage density. |
| ifollow | Autonomous mobile robot (AMR) | Supports collaborative picking and transport of pallets and other load carriers. |
| Supporting software | Automation software | Integrates with warehouse management systems and controls hardware and material flow. |
The ifollow AMR is used for collaborative picking and for moving pallets and other load carriers. All hardware systems include supporting software intended to move deployments into production quickly.
The warehouse industry is undergoing continued change as automation technology advances. Greg Lary, sales director at Movu Robotics, is scheduled to take part in a webinar on how ASRS is evolving in modern warehouses on Wednesday, Feb. 4, 2026, at noon ET.
Industry experts from Kardex, Moffett Automation and Exotec are also expected to discuss the future development path of automation technology.
